Meet The Team

Rosemary Marchetto has served as a Prevention Specialist for older adults in Bergen County for the past five years. Her expertise in evidence-based programming, coalition building, community outreach, aging advocacy, community prevention, and elder care systems has allowed her to successfully educate and empower older adults with the knowledge and resources needed to improve their health, well-being, and overall quality of life.

She has collaborated with the New Jersey General Assembly Senior Services Committee under former Assemblywoman Valerie Huttle on initiatives focused on protecting the rights, safety, and quality of care for older adults throughout New Jersey.

​

Rosemary earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Paralegal Certificate from Rutgers University in 2019. Her professional experience is further enriched by 17 years as the primary caregiver and advocate for her mother, who lived with Alzheimer’s disease. This deeply personal experience inspired her passion for advocacy and strengthened her lifelong commitment to supporting older adults, caregivers, and the community.

As a Prevention Specialist, Rosemary educates older adults about the positive aspects of aging, encourages healthy lifestyles and positive perspectives, and emphasizes the importance of creating comprehensive care plans in partnership with healthcare providers. Through active listening, emotional support, and a compassionate, person-centered approach, she has built meaningful relationships and increased participant engagement within the community.

In recognition of her leadership and dedication, Rosemary has been appointed to the Bergen County Senior Services Advisory Council and the Bergen County Legislative Committee. She brings a unique combination of professional expertise, personal experience, and community advocacy to both roles, providing valuable insight into initiatives that enhance the lives of older adults throughout Bergen County. Her appointment term runs from September 1, 2026, through August 31, 2028.

Dondago Bellamy is an accomplished public speaker with more than 15 years of experience empowering youth, families, and older adults through education, prevention, and community engagement. His professional background includes serving as a crisis interventionist, coordinating and facilitating parenting workshops, educating and training healthcare professionals, conducting community outreach, and currently working as a Prevention Specialist focused on promoting health, wellness, and healthy aging among older adults.

After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from New Jersey City University in 2011, Dondago began his career as a teaching assistant at Paterson School No. 5, where he discovered his passion for serving others and creating a meaningful impact within the community.

As a Prevention Specialist, Dondago delivers engaging educational programs designed to empower older adults to embrace the positive aspects of aging, maintain a healthy mindset, and develop effective strategies for working collaboratively with their healthcare providers. His approach is centered on active listening, emotional support, and genuine connection, creating meaningful learning experiences and encouraging greater participant engagement.

Dondago’s expertise and dedication to prevention education have been recognized by the New Jersey Prevention Network, where he has been featured for his contributions to the field. He also serves as a consultant for the Wellness Initiative Senior Education Program, helping advance initiatives that promote the health, wellness, and overall well-being of older adults.

Known for his innovative thinking, adaptability, and commitment to service, Dondago brings a hands-on approach to every role he takes on. His ability to navigate complex situations, build trust, reduce risk, and inspire positive change has made him a respected educator, speaker, and community advocate dedicated to improving the lives of those he serves.
